BEIRUT: The Lebanese Army confiscated a container of toys and home appliances with Hebrew markings, a statement by the army command said Thursday.

The container, which belongs to one of Lebanon’s merchants, was confiscated in Beirut’s port, the statement said.

It was then handed in to the Customs Department for investigation, the statement added.
