BEIRUT: Military Investigative Judge Emad Zein issued arrest warrants Tuesday against two detainees charged of kidnapping a Lebanese businessman in Bekaa, the National News Agency reported.

Al Jundi Hamze Tleis and Farid Al Kabi were part of a four-member gang that kidnapped 73-year-old Ali Ahmad Mansour in East Lebanon two weeks ago.

Zein will Wednesday resume questioning Abdul Menhem Farhat and Ahmad Chawki Abu Jeneh, the remaining two members of the gang.

Mansour was released in east Lebanon after a $600,000 ransom was paid.

The Lebanese Army went in pursuit of the kidnappers and apprehended them a few days later during house raids in the Bekaa’s Brital area.
