Two wounded in south Lebanon, shooter surrenders to Army

BEIRUT: Two people were shot and wounded Friday night during a personal dispute in the southern town of Nabatiyeh, the Lebanese Army said in a statement.

 

"A personal dispute occurred between a number of citizens when an individual used a light weapon to shoot two people and lightly wounded them," the Army said.

 

It added that the shooter turned himself in to the office of Army's Intelligence in the town.

 

The military then handed him over to the relevant authority.
