BEIRUT: Two people were shot and wounded Friday night during a personal dispute in the southern town of Nabatiyeh, the Lebanese Army said in a statement.

"A personal dispute occurred between a number of citizens when an individual used a light weapon to shoot two people and lightly wounded them," the Army said.

It added that the shooter turned himself in to the office of Army's Intelligence in the town.
