BEIRUT: Two men were arrested in the Koura town of Kousba in north Lebanon Tuesday after they robbed a gas station, the state-run National News Agency said. According to the agency, the two men broke into the store early Tuesday morning and stole items, including cell phone recharge cards. The NNA said that the gas station’s employees came under fire by the thieves after they attempted to stop the two men from fleeing the scene. One of the Egyptian employees of the gas station was wounded in his leg when the thieves shot in their direction, the NNA said. But both men were arrested by a patrol of the Internal Security Forces’ Information Branch that in turn handed them to the Lebanese Army’s Intelligence Unit.
