Lebanese freed after kidnappers paid $400,000 ransom

BEIRUT: A man kidnapped earlier in the week in the Metn was released Monday after his abductors obtained a ransom of $400,000, security sources told The Daily Star.

Youssef Bshara, the brother Anis Bshara who owns a popular chain of bakeries, was kidnapped while driving in Bsalim. His Porsche Cayenne was intercepted by a group of gunmen who then abducted him.
