Hariri attends maternal grandmother’s U.K. funeral

BEIRUT: Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri took part in his maternal grandmother’s funeral in London Thursday, a statement from his media office said. Hariri, who arrived in London in the morning, flew there to participate in the funeral services of his grandmother Nazira Abdel-Razzak Hassoun. The statement also said Hariri’s grandmother had passed away earlier this week after a long battle with illness. She was 85.
