Syrian child drowns in river in Kesrouan

BEIRUT: A four-year-old Syrian boy drowned Tuesday in Nahr al-Kalb River in the region of Kesrouan, security sources told The Daily Star.

The boy was identified as Ali Hussein al-Kirdi.

The sources added that Kirdi drowned after he fell in the river while playing.
