AIN AL-HILWEH, Lebanon: Gunmen seized arms from one of Fatah’s centers in the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh Monday, Palestinian sources told The Daily Star.

At dawn a group of armed men attacked the guard outside the Fatah military center, located at the western entrance of the camp, the sources said.

They seized seven guns from members sleeping inside the center, after tying the guard outside to his chair with rope and tying a scarf around his mouth.

The guard was able to untie the scarf later on and scream for help.

However, when his colleagues woke up, the gunmen had fled the center.
