Hariri assassination to be marked at BIEL rally
A+ A-

BEIRUT: The March 14 alliance will mark the eighth anniversary of the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri in a rally at the BIEL center in Downtown Beirut, the Central News Agency reported Thursday.

The secretary-general of the Future Movement, Ahmad Hariri, told the agency that leaders and MPs representing all the parties in March 14 as well as the Future Movement would participate in the event, which will be held Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

Ahmad said that the event would also focus on the political principles former Prime Minister Saad Hariri declared in his latest TV interview.

Ahmad said the alliance would reiterate “its political and moral support” for the uprising against Syrian President Bashar Assad.
