BEIRUT: The Communist Party Thursday condemned the defacing of the tomb of a resistance fighter in south Lebanon.
In a statement, the party said “once again the hand of treachery” had struck at the grave of Ali al-Abed, known as Abu Rafik, in the village of Houla.
The party complained that “the criminals weren’t content with” earlier damaging the commemorative plaque marking Abed’s resistance activities against Israel.
