BEIRUT: Two Israeli reconnaissance planes and six fighter jets breached the country’s airspace and circled above several regions including Beirut, the Lebanese Army said in a statement Friday.
The statement added that the fighter jets entered Lebanese airspace at 6:50 a.m. and the reconnaissance planes circled above Beirut and Iqlim al-Kharroub for seven hours beginning from 8:25 a.m., the National News Agency reported.
