BEIRUT: A Syrian refugee was shot in the left leg with a hunting rifle Friday in the village of Yohmor, Nabatieh.
The National News Agency reported that an unidentified man shot Abdel-Rahman Moqdad with a hunting rifle while he was gathering wild thyme at a field in the village.
Moqdad was admitted to Nabatieh Public Hospital, and police have launched investigations into the incident. A series of incidents have recently targeted Syrian workers in south Lebanon.
