MP Wannous suffers heart attack after rally

BEIRUT: Akkar MP Badr Wannous, a member of the Future parliamentary bloc, suffered a heart attack Thursday shortly after attending the March 14 rally held at BIEL in Beirut to commemorate the eighth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri’s assassination, the state-run National News Agency reported. Wannous, who was rushed to Clemenceau Hospital in Hamra, was reported to be in a stable condition, the NNA added.
