BEIRUT: A Jordanian man was arrested at Beirut’s airport Tuesday for allegedly trying to smuggle drugs into Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, security sources said.

They said the 31-year-old man was arrested after customs officers found 3.4 kilograms of psychotic pills concealed in the bottom of his suitcase.

Following preliminary interrogation at the Beirut port, the man was referred to the anti-drug bureau, the sources added.
