Kahwagi meets Syrian, Romanian envoys

BEIRUT: Lebanese Army chief Gen. Jean Kahwagi met Friday with the Syrian and Romanian envoys to the country, the Army reported on its website.

Kahwagi separately held talks with Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Abdel Karim Ali and the Syrian-Lebanese Council’s secretary-general Nasri Khoury, the report said.

It added that the army chief met later with Romanian Ambassador to Lebanon, Daniel Tanase for talks on military cooperation between Lebanon and Romania.
