Police arrest three men plotting attacks in Jbeil
A+ A-

BEIRUT: Police announced Monday the arrest of three men for their alleged involvement in the planning of several plots to cause unrest in Jbeil, the National News Agency reported.

The Internal Security Forces said the three men, identified only by their initials, set a judge’s car on fire and shot at a man’s residence in Jbeil.

After interrogations, the two men confessed to having carried out the two acts and to having plotted the burning of a beauty salon in the city.

They added that they worked for an Egyptian woman who was now outside the country and that they received money from two unidentified men for the attacks. Investigations were launched into the incident.
