Hariri Foundation, LAU sign leadership training deal
A+ A-

SIDON, Lebanon: The Hariri Foundation and the Lebanese American University have signed a cooperative agreement to provide students with leadership training.

Sidon MP Bahia Hariri signed the agreement with LAU president Joseph Jabbra to launch an academy for Leadership and the Constitution, during a ceremony at Hariri’s residence in Majdalyoun, outside Sidon.

Hariri said “this project will involve about 600 students in different schools across Lebanon in cooperation with the university,” adding that the project “is a real investment for Lebanon’s future.”

Hariri announced that the foundation was in discussions with the university to form an educational research observatory, noting that similar projects are under way for a long-term educational strategy.

In his speech, Jabbra said the university and the foundation were “united in introducing principles of leadership which will change the future toward the better.”
