BEIRUT: Ragheb Alameh denied allegations that the mayor of the southern village of Haris, Imad Ahmad, filed a lawsuit against the singer and his bodyguards following a physical altercation. The National News Agency reported that Ahmad alleged that his son and nephew were beaten in an unprovoked attack by Alameh’s bodyguards in the southern Beirut neighborhood of Bir Hasan. The NNA added that Ahmad filed a lawsuit against Alameh and his bodyguards demanding “proper security measures be taken against the suspects so they won’t repeat their aggression.” Alameh denied the allegations on his Twitter account. The NNA said Alameh’s business manager maintained that the dispute was resolved following a phonecall between the singer and the Ahmad family.
