2 Lebanese, 3 Syrians, Kuwaiti arrested for cannabis possession

BEIRUT: Two Lebanese, three Syrians and one Kuwaiti national were arrested Friday for possession of cannabis in Beirut and its suburbs, security sources told The Daily Star Saturday.

A 31-year-old Syrian man identified by his first name as Moheieddine was arrested in possession of hashish in central Beirut.

One Lebanese, 24, a Syrian, 24, and a Kuwaiti, 22, were also arrested for possession of hashish and marijuana in the St. George area of Beirut.

In Zqaq al-Blat, a Lebanese, 48, and a Syrian, 19, were arrested for possession of hashish.
