BEIRUT: Tens of people blocked a street with burning tires in the northern city of Tripoli Tuesday in protest against prolonged electricity and water cuts.
Some 80 young men burned tires, blocking the road near Talaat al-Shamli in the neighborhood of Jabal Mohsen, saying that their areas have been suffering from a lack of electricity and water for 10 consecutive days.
