Iran vows to keep Lebanon out of Syrian crisis

BEIRUT: Iran is committed to keeping Lebanon out of the Syrian crisis, Tehran’s ambassador to Beirut Ghazanfar Roknabadi said Wednesday.

During a meeting with the head of the Future parliamentary bloc Fouad Siniora and former Minister Mohammad Chatah, Roknabadi said that Iran was working to find a solution to the Syrian crisis through an Iranian initiative that would bring about a cease-fire.
