Khalil asked to cover health costs for abandoned baby

BEIRUT: Social Affairs Minister Wael Abu Faour telephoned Health Minister Ali Hasan Khalil Monday and asked him to cover the hospital fees of a baby girl who was abandoned in Chtaura.

The girl was found Sunday along the international highway in the Bekaa Valley and was transferred to a local hospital. Khalil reportedly took the necessary measures to cover the expenses of the infant’s hospitalization.
