BEIRUT: The body of a 42-year-old Lebanese man who died in Israel was returned Tuesday to his family in the village of Deir Mimas, south Lebanon, according to the National News Agency.

The NNA said Rony Hanna al-Hasbani’s body was handed to his family by the International Committee of the Red Cross which transferred the deceased through the Naqoura gate.

Hasbani entered the Jewish state following the withdrawal of Israeli troops from Lebanon in 2000, the state-run agency said.
