BEIRUT: Prince Albert of Monaco is scheduled to visit Beirut Tuesday on a first-ever official visit to Lebanon during which both countries will sign several bilateral agreements. Prince Albert will meet President Michel Sleiman, Prime Minister Saad Hariri and Speaker Nabih Berri during his four-day visit.
Prince Albert will be accompanied by the Economic Development Chamber of Monaco, which will sign agreements with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon. The Lebanese and Monegasque bodies will hold a series of meetings at the Intercontinental Phoenicia Hotel on Jan. 12 and 13 to discuss issues related to the banking and tourism sectors.
