BEIRUT: All Lebanese political factions are responsible for maintaining civil peace and avoiding violent rhetoric, the Lebanese Forces (LF) said Friday in reference to an attack on one of its party offices. Two unidentified people shot into the air facing the LF’s office in the northern town of Kousba Thursday evening, a security source reported. The source added that the perpetrators sought to act “professionally,” by selecting a spot that was out of the view of the LF office’s security cameras. However, other cameras in the street managed to catch the suspects during their escape, the source continued, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
