US puts Saudi man on terror list: State Department
Agence France Presse

WASHINGTON: The United States said Tuesday it has placed a suspected Saudi member of a Islamist militant group based in Lebanon on its list of international terrorists.

The State Department said it had designated Ibrahim Suleiman Hamad Al-Hablain, known as Abu Jabal, a "specially designated global terrorist," a classification that bars Americans from doing business with him or on his behalf.

It said Al-Hablain was an explosives expert for the "Brigades of Abdallah Azzam," a Lebanon-based militant group that has taken credit for firing rockets into Israel.

According to press reports, it also took responsibility for a July 2010 explosion on a Japanese oil tanker, the M Star.

Saudi Arabia has requested Al-Hablain's extradition and he has been sought by Interpol since 2009 for "activities related to terrorism."

Now those already brainwashed Americans are going to think Lebanon's a terrorist country for sure. Western propaganda has always been a source of trouble.

i was under the impressio that it is a palestinian militant group and not lebanese militant group as they are claiming, they are mixing lebanese with palestinians,. thats what we get when we have over a million refugees in lebanon, most of them carry weapons, and start trouble everywhere . its like lebanon does not have enough bad sectarian people and various militants, which we dont need, peace will never remain in lebanon with all these evil people who don't care if lebanon is peaceful, free and democratic and one of the best middle eastern countries, was anyway,, not anymore.. as for the western world, of course they are going to blame lebanon , since the party involved was in lebanon expatriated from his country saudi arabia,.. thats where they come from, saudi arabia kicks them out and send them over to lebanon to stir more fire.. so please stop blaming the western world.. since they dont know any better, or cant figure out how many fractions you have in lebanon or else where in the middle east, and start blaming those militants who walk in the streets to terrorize civilians holding their weapons and creating problems inside lebanon and outside. wake up people, look around you . they should do a clean up of weapons in lebanon, armless population to be is the best solution to lebanese people, kick everyone else out. they don t like it,, take a walk , go join the afghan insurgents. . i feel so bad when I look back at lebanon and see how it was before 1975 // and how it became, after, you would think peopl ehave learned, but no, worse to worse.. . we here, as lebanese expatriates, we are scared to go to lebanon to visit our close family.. we are not used to live in tension 24/7. And the worse most of the lebanese people criticize american people thinking they are brainwashed, they are not brainwashed, thats what they see and hear.. why dont you show them the opposite of what they think lebanon is??? instead of blaming the west all the time, do something for your country like we do here and not what your country does for you.. start the cleaning .. you will fell better and breath better. thats the only way Lebanon will blossom again.. from a desperate expatriate who loves lebanon and does not tolerate violence, etc.and ignorance

If they clean Lebanon all those who are in power won't be able to steal anymore. Lebanon is "democratic" only on paper. Have you seen any new polititian that care about Lebanon more than their own pockets???
