OCCUPIED JERUSALEM: Israeli police say they have arrested five teenagers suspected in the beating of a Palestinian man who was attacked while walking with a Jewish woman.

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld says the man suffered a broken leg during the attack last week. The attack happened as the man was taking the woman home in a Jewish neighborhood after midnight.

Rosenfeld said Sunday that the suspects were rounded up over the weekend. He says that while nationalistic motives appear to be behind the attack, the incident is still under investigation.

It was the second such beating in less than a month. Last month, a young Arab man was beaten unconscious by a crowd of Jewish youths in Jerusalem, drawing condemnations from Israeli leaders.
