Explosion in Syrian town on Lebanese border

BEIRUT: An explosion ripped through a gas station on the Lebanon-Syria border Thursday in the Syrian town of Jdeidet Yabous, security sources told The Daily Star.

The bomb was a result of a mine explosion near the northern border with Syria, the sourced added.

No casualties were reported.
