Iran's 's Rouhani says Israel must join non-nuclear treaty

UNITED NATIONS: Iran's President Hassan Rouhani on Thursday called on Israel to join the Non-Proliferation Treaty and put its widely suspected nuclear arms under international control.

"No nation should possess nuclear weapons," Rouhani, whose country is accused by western nations of seeking an atomic bomb, told a UN General Assembly meeting on nuclear disarmament.
