Two blasts in central Cairo: state TV, witnesses

CAIRO: Two large explosions were heard near Cairo University in the centre of the Egyptian capital on Wednesday, state television and witnesses said.

The cause of the blasts was not immediately clear, but militants have carried out bomb attacks in a campaign against the military-installed government.
