Palestinians fire rockets from Gaza into Israel

JERUSALEM: Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip fired three rockets into Israel on Monday but caused no casualties or property damage, the army said in a statement.

It said the projectiles fell in the Negev desert region of southern Israel.

The attack came during a public holiday in Israel marking the last day of the Jewish festival of Passover.
