OCCUPIED JERUSALEM: Two long-range rockets fired by militants in Gaza crashed into the sea off the northern port city of Haifa Wednesday, Israeli media reported.

Haifa lies 165 kilometers north of the Gaza Strip where Israel has been waging a major air campaign against militants from the Islamist Hamas movement.

If confirmed, it would be the furthest a rocket fired from Gaza has ever travelled.
