BENGHAZI, Libya: At least 13 people were killed and around 100 wounded in fierce clashes Friday in eastern Libya between a group led by a rogue ex-general and Islamists militants, hospitals said.

The figures were tallied by AFP based on tolls from three hospitals in and around Benghazi, where forces loyal to former rebel chief, retired general Khalifa Haftar, fought pitched battles with Islamists.
