A Washington Post reporter detained in Iran more than a year ago and charged with espionage appeared in court for a final hearing Monday, with a verdict expected in the coming days in a trial that has been condemned by the newspaper and press freedom groups.Jason Rezaian's lawyer, Leila Ahsan, submitted a 20-page defense brief at the start of Monday's session and provided an oral defense during the hearing, she told the Associated Press. The fourth closed-door hearing in Rezaian's trial ended after a few hours devoted to his defense.
