Ankara: Four members of Turkey's military were killed on Tuesday when two military jets crashed in the Malatya region in the southeast of the country, the interior minister said.

There was no further information on the cause of the incident, nor why the two jets crashed apparently simultaneously.

Each plane was reported to have been carrying a pilot and a co-pilot. There were no survivors.
