Syria's main Kurdish party warned Turkey Wednesday that any military intervention would threaten international peace and said the country's main Kurdish militia is ready to face any "aggression".Rojava refers to Syria's predominantly Kurdish region.Kurdish fighters backed by U.S.-led airstrikes have been on the offensive against ISIS in northern Syria for months, and now control a long stretch along the Syria-Turkey border. Khalil said three ISIS fighters were killed and a fourth blew himself up.The warning came as Syria's defense minister visited Hassakeh in the northeast, where the regime forces and the Kurdish YPG militia clashed with ISIS militants on the outskirts of the city. The Observatory, citing activists on the ground, said ISIS appeared to have sent members from Raqqa into battle in other parts of Syria, leading to a reduction in patrols of its self-appointed religious police in the northern city.
