Summary
U.S.-led airstrikes killed at least 52 civilians in a village in northern Syria, an activist group said on Saturday, but the Pentagon said it could not confirm the report.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also reported 10 civilian deaths in a rocket strike Saturday in the northern city of Aleppo, and said 40 others suffered respiratory problems in a pre-dawn chemical attack further north in Idlib province.
U.S.-led strikes had killed at least 66 civilians in Syria from the start of the raids on Sept. 23 until Friday's strike, which brought the total to at least 118 . The campaign has also killed nearly 2,000 ISIS fighters, the Observatory said.
Abdel Rahman told AFP that Kurdish militiamen and Syrian rebel fighters were clashing with ISIS in a town roughly two kilometers (1 mile) away.
Backed by the strikes, Kurdish fighters drove ISIS out of Kobani in January.
In Aleppo, at least 10 civilians, including three children, were killed in rebel rocket attacks Saturday on government-controlled parts of the divided city.
