The British Embassy in Lebanon released a report Friday stating that Russia's military intervention in Syria has failed to focus on its stated objective of fighting ISIS, instead concentrating its operations on rebel forces, which could lead to the militant group making territorial gains. The report said that since Russia began its bombing on Sept. 30, 85 percent of its airstrikes have been in areas where ISIS is not operational. Twenty-six Russian cruise missiles fired from the Caspian Sea last week were not targeted at the group and it took six days for Russia to strike at any ISIS target, it said.
