In a searing denouncement, President Barack Obama slammed Donald Trump as "unfit" and "woefully unprepared" to serve in the White House Tuesday.Obama asked during a news conference.Obama – who is enjoying heightened popularity in his eighth and final year in office – has made clear he plans to be an active player in the White House race, campaigning around the country for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.At the news conference, Obama broached the U.S. airstrikes against Daesh (ISIS) in Libya, which continued for a second day Tuesday, and called the new bombing campaign critical to protecting U.S. national security interests.
