Prominent Turkish journalist Ahmet Sik was detained Thursday on suspicion of spreading terrorist propaganda, state media and an opposition lawmaker who spoke to the reporter said.Prosecutors could not be reached for comment but Sik himself tweeted that he was being taken to the prosecutor's office.The PKK, which has been fighting for three decades for autonomy for Turkey's mainly Kurdish southeast, is considered a terrorist group by the European Union and the United States as well as Turkey.At least 81 journalists are imprisoned in Turkey, according to the New York-based Committee to Protect Journalists, and more than 130 media outlets have been shut since July.
