Egypt Thursday received the first of two French Mistral helicopter carriers and said the second would arrive in September as part of a deal signed last year.France agreed last year to sell two Mistral helicopter carriers to Egypt for 950 million euros (656 million pounds) after their sale to Russia was cancelled last August.Egypt last year also acquired a French frigate as part of a 5.2 billion euro contract for 24 Rafale warplanes, France's first overseas export of the fighter jet.
