Israeli troops in the occupied West Bank shot dead a Palestinian who attacked them during an overnight operation to arrest suspected militants, the army said Tuesday.Since October 2015, 248 Palestinians, 40 Israelis, two Americans, a Jordanian, an Eritrean and a Sudanese have been killed, according to an AFP count.The Al-Fara raid came less than 48 hours after a Palestinian rammed a truck into troops visiting a Jerusalem tourist site, killing four soldiers in a stark reminder of tensions despite a recent lull in violence.
