Israel's navy Sunday intercepted a Norwegian-flagged activist boat trying to break its more than decadelong blockade of the Gaza Strip, the military and activists said.Two Palestinian militants were killed in the eastern Gaza Strip early Sunday, their movement said, in an explosion during what residents said were preparations to launch a projectile at Israel.Gazan residents said it appeared the two had been preparing a rocket to launch at Israel.The PFLP is considered a terrorist organization by Israel, the United States and the European Union.There has been persistent violence between the Israeli army and Palestinian protesters along the Gaza-Israel border since late March in which at least 154 Palestinians have been killed.Human rights groups have accused Israel of the unlawful use of lethal force against the protesters.Gaza's Health Ministry said Saturday that Moumin al-Hams, 17, was shot in the chest in the protest on Friday along the fence that separates Gaza and Israel.
