BEIRUT: Lebanese Forces MP Antoine Zahra said Wednesday the time had come for the opposition March 14 parties to seriously consider confronting the government and denying it any legitimacy.
In an interview with the Free Lebanon radio station, Zahra said the common point between Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah’s speech and Free Patriotic Movement leader Michel Aoun’s attitude Tuesday was to “belittle the minds of citizens.”
“Following the funding of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, it appeared clearly through … Nasrallah’s speech that there is a demand for compensations and alternatives to the funding after they had been unable to stop it,” Zahra said.
