Bahia Hariri: Lebanese will face Israel united

SIDON, Lebanon: Sidon MP Bahia Hariri said the Lebanese would face off a “new Israeli aggression on Lebanon’s natural resources.

“We will face a new Israeli aggression on our waters and [natural] resources united as we did each time.

The last one was in 2006 when all the Lebanese stood like one man in confronting the [Israeli] aggression, its blockade and its destruction with the support of its brothers, friends and high sacrifices of its resistance fighters,” Hariri said at a luncheon she hosted at her residence in Majdalyoun near Sidon Saturday in honor of Muslim and Christian religious leaders.

Hariri described the gathering as “a day of getting together, love and harmony.”

“It is a meeting to protect what we have achieved during long years like the liberation of the land, the rebuilding of what was destroyed and the building of the state which is the guarantee for our unity and our freedom in the framework of law and institutions,” she said.
