BEIRUT: Former prime minister Saad Hariri will not return to Lebanon in the near future, Future Movement MP Jamal Jarrah told Voice of Lebanon radio Monday.
“Hariri will not be coming back to Beirut any time soon due to the ongoing security threats against him and it would be better for him to remain outside the country because we live in a country which has many deranged individuals,” Jarrah, an MP for Rashaya in western Bekaa, said.
Earlier last week, Arab and Western sources confirmed reports that there was an assassination plot against Hariri.
