Cabinet meeting set for Wednesday postponed

BEIRUT: Prime Minister Najib Mikati's office announced Wednesday that the Cabinet meeting scheduled to take place in the late afternoon to discuss STL funding has been postponed.

No new date for a Cabinet meeting has been set.

Mikati threatened last week to resign should his Hezbollah-dominated government refuse to fund the STL, and the issue was to be discussed at Wednesday's meeting.

Mikati is expected to hold a press conference at noon Wednesday at the Grand Serail, according to his press office.
