BEIRUT: An engineer was killed Wednesday and four workers were injured when a small bridge they were constructing in a resort in Batroun, north Lebanon, collapsed.
Security sources said Lebanese national Maroun Maroun, 46, was killed while trying to put up the bridge at the San Stephano resort.
The sources identified the injured as Syrian and Egyptian workers.
Maroun was taken to Batroun Hospital.
