Albanian House Speaker begins Lebanon visit

Albanian parliament speaker Josefina Topalli.

BEIRUT: Albanian House Speaker Josefina Topalli arrived in Lebanon overnight on an official visit at the invitation of Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.

Topalli kicked off her meetings Monday with talks with President Michel Sleiman at the Presidential Palace in suburban Baabda.

Later in the day, she will meet with Berri at his residence in Ain el-Tineh, Beirut.

Berri will also host a luncheon in honor of Topalli, who is on a two-day visit.
