Governor of Australian state of Victoria in Lebanon next week

BEIRUT: The governor of the Australian state of Victoria will visit Lebanon next week for talks with Lebanese officials.

Alex Chernov will be accompanied by Federal MP Philip Ruddock and a delegation from the Lebanese-Australian Chamber of Commerce headed by Fadi Al-Zouqi.

The Victoria governor is scheduled to meet President Michel Sleiman as well as other Lebanese officials, according to the state-run National News Agency.
